On Holiday in London, staying in Pimlico. Found this gem of Indian food on a walk around the neighborhood. Server was very friendly and recommended several good choices. Three children in our group of eight.

Called in after spotting it before we attended a wedding at Tulse Hill on Saturday. It wasn't very busy but the food was fabulous. We shared a prawn bihriani and a chicken green Masala both of which were delicious. Definitely return when we visit London...More

We recently had the pleasure of eating at the Millbank Spice restaurant with a large family group (10) One of the best experiences in an Indian restaurant I have had in a long time. The service was very good, not too intrusive but attentive. The...More

I have eaten here on several occasions, the last time being after the ICC cricket final at the Oval. The restaurant was busy but not full, and I did not have to wait long for my food. I had the 'Millbank Special' which was very...More

This restaurant is quite spacious and ideal for a meal before or after visiting Tate Britain. I am not sure if the staff were having a bad day but they were not very attentive to customers, not bringing menus, bringing the wrong type of lassi,...More

We did not want to leave London without adding an Indian restaurant to our list and this one in Pimlico was great. It was a little after lunchtime so we had great service and not many patrons around. We enjoyed vegetable biryani, mix vegetable curry...More

Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than
most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely
residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames,
is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle
architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art
lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class
Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art
from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and

Description
Modern design meets traditional Indian virtues and the result is a marvellous marriage of the two. This smart restaurant is very contemporary, kitted out in spicy orange and regal purple with lovely decor all around. The dishes have been slightly modernised, but only in the sense that we're all eating more heathily these days, so fat content has been lowered and fewer artificial colourings are in use. The food is delightful, spicy and fresh and winning. In fact, you will probably find yourself surrounded by purring regulars on your first visit. Dishes include the classics you love, like lamb tikka, samosa, onion bhajia, tandoori specialities, special duck dishes, classic chicken tikka masala, featherlight naan and all the trad curries. Baltis are available if you ask nicely. The service is warm and helpful and the entire experience very nice indeed.
