I visited Brasserie Blanc in Trinity Square, London EC3 as the guest of an old friend. Last time I was there it was a Chez Gerard and was starting to get a bit "tired". The menu was varied with specials of the day. I was...More

I went to the Threadneedle St branch of this chain for about the 6th time in the last 18 months. It has always been excellent. I was attracted back by the August set menu for £16.45 for 3 courses. My wife and I had the...More

We booked a table at the restaurant by Tower Hill Tube for 8.30.p.m. and were told they only had one other booking and intended to close early. (The writing was probably on the wall!). We ordered two sirloins with sauce and separate (expensive) vegetables. One...More

It’s difficult to know what to think. An evening in July was perfect, with great food, excellent service, offering superb value. I would have happily recommended it to anyone. Last week, one month later, our party of 6 endured abysmal food and dreadful service. Something...More

Went for lunch yesterday to Brasserie Blanc at Tower Bridge. We arrived and were seated and had to wait half an hour before anyone bothered to ask us if we wanted a drink. At that point we ordered our food as well. Given there are...More

More expensive than your average city lunch but, if you’re looking for something a little bit pricy than your standard lunch but without stretching to Gaucho prices this is a great place to go. The food is great and the service excellent. I can highly...More

We picked this for lunch, at random, while walking past it. We were thrilled! The food is very good. We had lamb, sausages and mash, beef stroganoff, and all were very pleasing. The wine selection was quite good.

This is now a Brasserie Blanc and has had a French makeover. Pleasant decor and verty attentive staff, pacey but appropriate service and excellent food (wine a bit pricey but this is central London). Will return.

The restaurant was not busy at all but yet the food was extremely slow in coming out. I noticed quite a few people complaining about how long they were having to wait. I had my prawn cocktail starter spilt over me by the waitress. When...More

The waiters I had didn't seem to speak French but there were waiters that could. It cost me £70 for a 3 course meal for 1 with wine, sparkling water and coffee.

I don't think they will mind what you wear. However most people were wearing smart casual or work wear when I visited. Jeans with a nice top would be fine.
