Called into The Silver Cross for Sunday lunch en route to the nearby National Gallery. The pub was extremely busy, but in spite of this the service was calm, well organised and reasonably swift given the circumstances. We chose lunch from the menu which seemed...More

Out first night in London we randomly stopped here and had a great meal! Fish and Chips were fantastic and the atmosphere was nice! Order at counter and food delivered to your table without much wait! Close to Theater district and reasonably priced for location...More

Nice decor. Decent pub food, fish and chips, burgers and steak pie hits the spot after sightseeing all morning. Nice selection of brews and ciders. The strawberry/lime cider is particularly good.

Went here for dinner before theatre as it was month end, and I'd have rather gone somewhere even cheaper but the pub across the road was full. Well, it wasn't all bad - my partner enjoyed his food, the drinks had decent prices, and the...More

We went here for Sunday lunch and were left very disappointed. We ordered our food and they brought the starters and the main course together! My husband cut open his pie and it was still frozen inside, we sent it back and were still waiting...More

Decided to try an English pub. The exterior was so inviting as well as the interior and many types of diners (age-wise / work or holiday wise) and even a troupe of school children were accommodated while we were there. The food was tasty and...More

The food is great... so delicious. Unfortunately I was there when the restaurant was full so it took a bit of time for the food to arrive but that doesn't diminish the quality of the food. Great typical pub with typical pub food. Recommended

We popped in here for a pre theatre dinner after discovering Walkers was closed. I ordered nachos & my companion ordered fish & chips. The service was quick, however the tiny amount of cheese (trust me it was difficult to find) was cold & the...More

While bouncing around the different shops in the area, we wandered in to The Silver Cross for lunch. While it was busy, the service was still good. This is a pub so you place your order at the bar and they'll deliver the food to...More

If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a
grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to
start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster
Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square,
and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham
Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just
up the road as well. As captivating as the
architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are

Not near the Pulman Hotel at all. Silver Cross is very close to Trafalgar Square, I don't know about a roast dinner every day but possibly it may be served on a Sunday.
