Visited the restaurant as a group and was very pleased by how we were all served at the same time. Menu selection between Nepali and Indian dishes was spot on, and authentic in taste. This restaurant will become my local favorite!

Used to order food twice a month. Last two orders have produced rubbery chicken and no recognition of prepaid online order! First time promise of discount but second time could not understand the person that answered my phone call. Will now struggle to reverse payment, but will look for another Indian/Nepalese outlook.

OK, it doesn't look that smart but I am writing this review in a bid to get more people to try it out. The reason? Very simple. It serves excellent food at a decent price. Being Nepalese there are some distinctly non Indian dishes on the menu to complement more standard ones. Anyway, this local restaurant is a million miles... More

We were staying around the corner from this hidden gem and popped in on the off chance we could get a table. We were immediately given a warm welcome and soon a table had been rearranged to accommodate the seven of us. The food and service was excellent and the Lamb Hariyo was one of the best curries I have... More

The restaurant has the standard Indian fayre but the real point of going here, away from the more central Greenwich tourist traps, are those dishes which are a little bit different: for example, the dal makhani of lentils and red kidney beans was delicious. Friendly staff.

Nepalese cuisine seems to me to be a fusion of all that is good in that part of the world, that is, it emerges from the strong influences on all sides geographically. I ordered khasi khutta and my companions ordered mixed karahi, paneer butter masala and various sides. The service was a little slow but that does not bother me... More

Staying in Greenwich

Neighbourhood Profile
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.
