We ate here again after loving it on a trip we made to London 5 years ago in 2012. Everything was as we remembered last time - great food, friendly attentive staff, beautiful decor but they still welcome you in your 'tourist casuals'. We had the 'chips' and 3 chutneys for appetizers - they are really good, especially the sweet... More

My wife and I stumbled upon this place to cross "eating at an Indian restaurant" off our London bucket list. They did not disappoint. The chicken chili masala and garlic gnan did not disappoint.

Went here after watching a show at the theatre. I asked the waiter to recommend a dish and it was one of the best curries I've had. I was very surprised how good it was - shatkora korai I think it was. Delicious!

The location is convenient; the wine was decent enough; and the service was reasonably quick. But I had the strong sense that this was one of those places where - frankly - they don't care if you ever come back. The food was edible; but think cheap takeaway not hearty curry. A disappointment. That said, I was meeting a friend... More

Had several takeaways from here. It's okay, but not more than this. The food is nothing special, but just about okay. I do not like to knock a place, but this is the reality of my opinion.

Had a pleasant supper here. Our food was fresh, nicely spiced, presented and served. No issues with a walk in for two. A bit of confusion with the wine but the one we got maybe doesn't sell that quickly, so we had a very pleasant Macon rouge 2010, rather than a 2014 Macon blanc but that was tasty.

We had lunch at this place and it is nothing special. They shouldn't advertise as being authentic indian because they ARE NOT! all the dishes were below average and very expensive for what you get. We requested the food to be made extra spicy, which chefs at all the other restaurants happily do, but we were flat refused on our... More

The food was very fresh and good. Portions were small. Waiters were polite. Choice was limited but good.

We had a lovely dinner here on September 16, celebrating a relative's birthday. The food is delicious without being laden with heavy spices and hot. Everything we ordered was just so tasty especially the various chicken dishes and the chicken biryani. The service was attentive and courteous and the price for the meal was very reasonable for 7 adults. We... More

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
