Can't fault the food or service. Chicken balti is top class. Second visit. Both great. Can't understand the bad reviews. Bills a bit confusing but right when we checked it.

Went here for a meal with my wife. The food was delicious, the wine was good. The service was quick to serve the food, the service for clearing the table of your used plates etc, took a little while shall we say. There were two guys working, one was his 1st night, so not sure about the way things were... More

Amjadia is on my route home. I love a curry and I was desperately hoping it would be good. It isn't. I ordered meat samosas for appetizer. There were two 2 inch by 2 inch triangular bullets. The crust was so hard I could barely cut it without it scooting off the plate. The meat inside was bland and unseasoned.... More

Excellent curry in London's west end at very reasonable prices. The food range from spicy to very spicy and include many traditional dishes. The service was efficient and prices very reasonable.

I was introduced to this place by a Pakistani friend's cousin when we did a fellas trip for my 40th bday. It was so good that I introduced my wife to Indian food back in the states when I got home. I couldn't stop talking about it and finally got to take her to Amjadia when she and I did... More

Food is always good but service can be patchy depending on time of day..Good choices on menu but don't be surprised at prices while not outrageous for London certainly not cheap.. That said I have been coming here for years and will continue to do so..

I used to live above this restaurant and I was a regular, recently I went back there with friends and it was as good as ever. If you like good quality Indian food without frills, this place is for you.

Two of us had a simple meal, a chicken madras and a lamb pasander, rice, popadom, nan bread, a beer and a water and the bill was a whopping £85.00!! DON'T GO THERE, there are plenty of other good places to eat in the area, Don't get ripped off like we did and besides the huge bill, the food wasn't... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
