I took my mum here for her birthday and wish I hadn’t. After really looking forward to it for so long we were massively disappointed. The food was very good as you would hope for the price, but everything else was terrible. We were sat...in a corner and practically ignored for the whole sitting. We were only offered a drink on arrival. Once sat down we had to wait at least 20 minutes for someone to come over and see if we wanted anything, only because I caught a waiter’s eye. The rest of the meal was the same, when someone happened to walk past and could see us sat impatiently waiting they’d come over, but we didn’t even get as much as a how are you the whole time. I had heard great things about the restaurant and had been looking forward to coming here for some time, but now just feel like I’ve tipped money down the toilet. A couple of the staff members were smiley and polite and the lady downstairs by the bathrooms was lovely.More

Have been to the city version before and just as impressed with the soho restaurant. Food was delicious- goes without saying. Would highly recommend the creme brûlée The service was also exceptional- friendly waiter with great enthusiasm and the doorman even helped me into my...coat on the way out.More

Bob Bob Ricard is a bit over the top - but that can be expected given it’s target group. But it is not only the atmosphere why guests are coming back as the food is surprisingly good. In fact, the Beef Wellington was one of...better we’ve ever tasted and is well worth the 45 minutes prep time (in fact, if you order a starter and a few drinks the timing works out perfectly). So why not the maximum rating: the service was a bit erratic and the starters (including the salmon tartare imperial) a bit average.More

We had lunch today at Bob Bob Ricard, our first meal at this beautiful restaurant. It was outstanding in every way. The interesting menu offers brilliant starters and mains at excellent prices. The caviar dégustation of three kinds of caviar with blini and crème fraîche...for 39GBP is an excellent deal. The oscietra was fabulous. The pelmeni stuffed with lobster, crab, and shrimp were swimming in a rich and delicious langoustine bisque. The scrumptious crab salad is light and delicious, topped with a perfectly roasted scallop. The "humble" champagne and truffle pie had a rich savory filling of mushrooms, jerusalem artichokes, and pearl onions and a beautiful thin pastry crust. The wine list is very special: excellent choices at reasonable prices I have never seen in a restaurant. We really appreciated the charming and impeccable service. This is a very busy restaurant-- you must book weeks in advance unless you are willing to go at an off time-- but unlike some other restaurants (e.g. Scott's) where it's fairly obvious that they couldn't care less about your experience, because someone is always waiting to take your table, we were made to feel that the servers and sommeliers had all the time in the world for us. Our server Teto could not have been more charming and accommodating. Both the upstairs and downstairs rooms are beautiful All and all, a superb experience.More

A brilliant evening from the beginning, pressing a button for champagne, to the end, with an exploding chocolate dessert. Very stylish interior, delicious innovative food with a Russian twist and attentive staff who were friendly but still professional. No surprise it’s essential to book.

We went to Bob Bob Richard for a special anniversary dinner and were not disappointed! Absolutely everything was perfect. The restaurant is so funky and cool and the food was amazing. My husband had the chateaubriand and I had the Russian dumplings which I was...nervous about but they were so good. The service was attentive but not over bearing and they made the evening really special for us. Highly recommend.More

My friend and I wanted to go all out for the evening…well what a treat this was! The food was honestly some of the most delicious I’ve eaten and the service and atmosphere created by the staff was second to none. Expect to be spoiled!

It was a fantastic experience.. we even went for the second bottle of champagne. The waiters were great and always serve when we did ring the bell for Champagne to get a top off ;-) Food was good too.. from Oyster and Salmon tartar to...fish and beef fillet.. and the signature dessert.More

Were greeted quickly upon arrival, however not the most friendly, almost too professional. Menus arrived quickly but from that point onward it was very difficult to get the attention of service, they almost had to come to you. I found the portion sizes to be...small, and surprisingly underwhelming considering how much reputation is placed on them. Expensive for what it was, but lovely decor, and friendly/professional service (when delivered)More

Mediocre food and service to match. Novelty Chicken Kiev is easily outshone by anything you'd find in M&S. Interior décor is the only reason you'd ever want to return, if you happen to end up here do yourself a favour and opt for Champagne in...lieu of a course or two.More
