Surprisingly decent and cheap pizza in a chill pub atmosphere. Popped by here this afternoon and was impressed with the relaxed vibe and eclectic interior design. I ordered the courgette pizza with tomato sauce, mozzarella, rocket and goat's cheese. I was pleasantly surprised at how much rocket and courgette was on the pizza and how good the sauce was. The... As other reviewers have said, the bar staff act like you are doing them a favour and it's massively over priced for what they offer. Pizzas are bad and pints are overpriced. DO NOT COME HERE.

Not sure how much they spent on the fit out but a few lampshades from grandmas living room and a few days later you have a pub. A couple of real ales on tap and good prices for Shoreditch. Mixed crowd but give the place a good vibe.

Great place to stop for dinner and drinks if you're on your way out to Shoreditch. Literally the only pub I've ever been to that plays Bruce Springsteen, you can't go wrong with that. Excellent and cheap pizzas, nice international vibes, highly recommend it. The only downside is that they close too early.

Warm and helpful service, an amazing selection of drinks, the mulled wine and cider a lovely touch. My only negative comment would be it was very cold,

Clip clopped over the road from Hawksmoor, it's opposite. Good selection of wines and cocktails, reasonably priced for the area. However, what made it for me was the very original decor, full marks on that. Mixed clientele, more Essex boys in the evening, which was amusing when they tried to chat us up. Bar staff v. good and very obviously... More

Really great venue, however their telephone number doesn't work nor do they have a website, so booking the venue needs to be in person. Upstairs is awesome, large enough for fairly big groups. I do find it very loud though, so people end up yelling. Downstairs is the opposite, with battened down windows and dark wood, feels very private. Love... More

Its alright to pop by here for a beer. They offer interesting drinks and the guests are rather young and stylish folks. The atmosphere is a bit dark.

If you want a place to meet up and impress with a local come point this is the spot! Good selection of ales and beers and wines. Tables outside even get the sun late on. The upstairs is particularly beautiful with all original ceilings, fixtures and windows...gorgeous!

Went here previously - were disappointed? Go back - lovely, friendly new team. Great choice of drinks, cocktails and sour dough pizza.

Staying in Spitalfields

Neighbourhood Profile
For a glimpse of Georgian and Victorian London at its most pristine, or a peek into what's apt to be the next big global trend, the hipster zone of Spitalfields can provide hours of amazement. Around the clock, this is a haven for early morning bargain hunters sizing up its street markets, foodie foragers throughout the day, or late night revelers hitting some of London's most popular bars and clubs.

Wedged between the business-minded City of London, expressly trendy Shoreditch, and zestful Whitechapel, the lines between traditional and contemporary beautifully blur in this historic East End nexus.
