This is a really nice place with Michelin stars. Excellent food with suberb matching wines. The service was good, but a bit formal.

This was our first visit to Murano but certainly will not be our last. The food was amazing and service was lovely. The prices are not cheap but it's Mayfair and I would highly recommend it for a celebratory meal.

The space is attractive, calm and spacious. Staff were excellent, very welcoming and helpful throughout. The seasonal menu offered a good range of well prepared Italian dishes. The selection of 5 vegetarian dishes was welcome. The cheese board was excellent. The Wine list is formidable but the sommelier impeccably helpful with assistance to navigate it.

I loved the restaurant with its ambience, and the staff were excellent, I could not fault them, in fact quite the reverse, so pleasant and professional. While you wait to order, you are fed with sufficient items at no extra cost. The wine was superb and helped by the sommelier who appeared knowledgeable. I was expecting more form the main course... An understated but chic room with the most flattering lighting & super helpful staff set the tone for an elegant evening with friends, the star of which was the fab food. the menu is ostensibly Italian but not like we've ever eaten. There are some quirky combinations, dates with halibut for example, but somehow even those work. We were offered... More

This restaurant has always been on my list to visit and I can say it lived up to my expectations, the staff are excellent and the atmosphere way ahead of places like Le Gavroche, the menu is simple to understand everything can either be a starter or main, the food is of a very high standard and lives up to... On arrival were met by very friendly and attentive staff, shown to our table which looked into a very busy kitchen. The waiters helped us choose complementary courses, very helpful! The food was excellent no complaints there wine fantastic all in all a great but expensive experience. Would I go back no as I've eaten in other starred restaurants for... More

This is not a bad restaurant, but it hardly deserves a Michelin star. And unless you go for the cheaper options (like the £30 per head set lunch) the price is astronomic. There is hardly a wine on the list at less than £60 per bottle. The bill for our celebration lunch (six people, four small main courses plus desert)... More

We had dinner here in July after reading the wonderful reviews. Chef Angela Hartnett brings strong Italian accent to many of the dishes; Gordon Ramsay is a true restaurateur to have assembled his first rate staff. Everything was near perfect, food, service, presentation all an A+, except for our location in the dining room. We were sat in the middle... More

The food was fine - it was expensive, but no more than we expected. However, the menu was confused and without themes and we would have liked more help from the chef on how to put together a coherent dinner. Then, in the middle of the meal, they brought out cheesy balls and then prosciutto and bread - fine for... More

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
