I honestly expected to wait for some time when I arrived, given that it was during the pre-theatre rush hour and the place was already very busy, but I was quickly shown to my table. I ordered the smoked salmon & avocado salad, which was delicious and very generously portioned - I couldn't finish it! Service was attentive without being... More

Food was quite good with many options. Prices were a bit high, especially the soft drinks, which did not include refills. Since the other reviews mention the great service, we must have been assigned a new waitress. Our service was not very good. We needed to hunt down our server to place our order, my request for extra napkins arrived... More

Excellent service by friendly waitressing staff. Have recently used the Fiori for coffee and cake but have had pasta and pizza in the past and I have never had an issue with quality. Those commenting upon the space in the restaurant need to remember Fiori's location in relation to theatres, Covent Garden and Leicester Square cinemas and shops.

We had just arrived into London and as it was late, did not want to waste time looking for somewhere to eat. The service was fine as was the food. It is a fairly basic looking cafe with reasonable food and prices given its location.

Clearly popular and great location but the tables were packed together like sardines, especially around the front door. Had to ask for menus. Waitress took orders from customers who came in after us. Got up and left without ordering.

Chicken kebab was cold and certainly was not fresh nor was the pizza and the chips looked liked they were made last week! Slapped down by miserable and rude waitress, obviously don't care about their customers as it's mainly a tourist hot spot. Avoid at all costs to save disappointment and food poisoning.

Stopped for coffee and some cakes. They didn't have most of the things we wanted on their menu list. When they eventually served the Danish pastry we ordered, it was stale and tasted horrible. It was difficult to get to your seat cause tables and chairs were packed so closely together without any consideration for customers difficulty to get seated.... More

Food was great. Service was awful. Forgot to bring one meal. Though it was fast, it was messy. THEY ADD A £5 GRATUITY CHARGE TO THE BILL. We refused to pay but watch out for that. Foreign staff who don't understand what is being said a lot.

Staying in Trafalgar Square / Embankment

Neighbourhood Profile
Trafalgar Square / Embankment
With its iconic Nelson’s Column, majestic oversized lions and brightly-lit fountains, Trafalgar Square is not just considered the heart of this bustling London hub, but the very core of the city itself. Beyond this esteemed gathering place are more famous icons, as well as a disproportionate numbers of the city’s most popular cultural attractions including the National Gallery and many West End theaters. Along the way to these major sites are quiet lanes and antiquated pubs to discover, as well as riverside vistas to enjoy on the embankment. With a calendar full of celebratory events, any time of year is a fine time to visit.
