Despite this being an incredibly busy McDonald's they have got it right. Polite and efficient staff, clean restaurant, clean toilets. It's a real shame they don't have a bigger seating area as it gets packed out. The food order was correct even though we wanted burgers without lettuce etc. Will always chose to go here if out and about on... More

There are a few MacD's on Oxford Street. I visitted the one at the Tottenham Court Road end - but not the one right near the station. Had an early lunch. Reasonably busy. Big Tasty burger - nice burger and bun. "Cheese" was odd tasting and overpowering. Salad was too thickly sliced - didn't belong in a burger. Chicken Dippers... More

This particular Mc Donald's was a little crowded when I had visited, the service was a little slow as well.

Some of the staff were rude eye rolling and tutting at customers. Slow service, rude staff. We visited on a Saturday and they had shut of half the seating area so there was no where to sit. Would eat somewhere else next time.

Ok so its McDonalds, so you tend to get what you expect; plus points lots of poeple working hard to keep it clean and not too difficult to find somewhere to sit even at midday. Minus points - dour, cheerless face at the counter (but there again would you....) and no lavatories. Absolutely fine for a quick refuel but in... More

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
