We booked the 1:30 sitting, followed the dress code and were seated seamlessly in the centre right of the palm court, a truly stunning location. We were very well looked after, provided with a glass of champagne and as much sandwiches, cakes, tea and cream...More

It's a very traditional experience of Afternoon Tea in London, this was in my "to-do list". I loved the macarrons! The service is impecable! It's not a place you feel very comfortable and natural. Everybody was dressed up. We were offered champagne glasses and I...More

Nice surroundings, staff extremely polite and very attentive, the sandwiches and cakes were nice but certainly nothing special and certainly not worth the money we paid. Wouldn't bother to visit again.

This must rank as one of the best afternoon teas in London. Service is faultless and the surroundings magnificent.

I don't think you can keep your bags with you inside the Palm court as the spaces between tea tables are limited. However, I think you may ask the reception/concierge to keep your bags while you enjoy your aft. tea.

Description
A British institution in itself, Tea at The Ritz is proud to be a member of the Tea Council's prestigious Tea Guild. Served in the spectacular Palm Court, a choice of several varieties of tea, finely cut sandwiches, freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream and a range of delicate pastries, combine to make for an unforgettable afternoon. The luxurious and graceful setting of The Ritz Palm Court is legendary and this is most certainly an opportunity that must be experienced, whether you are visiting London or already live there. Reflecting the elegant nature of the hotel's architecture The Ritz London has a dress code in different areas of the hotel as follows: Gentlemen are required to wear a jacket and tie for afternoon tea in The Palm Court and for lunch and dinner in The Ritz Restaurant. In all other areas of the hotel (The Ritz Restaurant breakfast service, The Rivoli Bar, The Long Gallery) and The Ritz Club, smart casual attire is suitable. Please note that trainers or sportswear are not permitted in any of the hotel or Club's restaurants or bars.
