This is a small cute family run resteraunt near knightsbridge area. For geoups of 2 max 4 it is fine, we were a group of 12, and honestly they could not cope. Food was not bad, caprese, lasagne, calamari, salmon were very good. Bruschetta and gnocchi dishes were average. I had called in the morning to specifically request a cake... More

After an event at the V and A I wanted some relaxed food and came across Orsini's. Staff were friendly and welcoming, the clientele were a mix of Italians and locals and I was shown to a good table. The menu is limited with an excellent selection of pasta, some traditional Italian main courses such as veal escalope and great... More

I selected this restaurant for an evening meal based on the close location to the V&A and a good rating on Trip Advisor. Staff were friendly and food was fresh and tasty. Portions were sized well so you didn't have to manage a huge plate of food. It was value for money in a central London location. For two people,... More

Food = average. Portions = small. Price of food = expensive and wine = very expensive. Not recommended. Very uncomfortable seating.

Given the many favourable reviews this restaurant has had the very disappointing experience I and my friends suffered came as an unwelcome shock. To start with they had no record of our booking despite it having been made direct and confirmed by them in an e-mail. ( Did we get an apology? No.). And whilst the pasts dishes are quite... More

Dinner on the Thursday before Christmas before going to the carol service at The Brompton Oratory. Very welcoming, unpretentious staff and atmosphere. We both had Calamari - crisp and succulent in the right places accompanied by a good garlicky mayonnaise. We went for the menu of the day for our mains - the Seabass fillet with pesto sauce was declared... More

Every time we visit London Orsini is one of the first restaurants we go to for dinner. It is a small Italian restaurant in South Kensington and the food is consistently delicious. The wait staff go out of their way to make sure your dining experience is memorable. One of my favorite dishes is the lasagne tradizionali. After dinner it... More

In a neighborhood like Knightsbridge restaurants tends to be more exclusive, but this little restaurant is the gem in this area by serving great dishes the way the Italians intended it to be; simple. That and a very reasonable price makes this an excellent restaurant for lunch and diner.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
