Their Tempura is fish shop battered & fried, Teriyaki has been reheated so many times you could use the chicken as your road tyres! You'll be waiting forever to get food. Came here late for dinner, asked if they were still open and was told they were open for another few hours. It was quite busy inside and they have... More

Saturday I had a late lunch with my ex boyfriend at Okawari restaurant in Ealing. The palace is roomy, clean. The interior is interesting. The staff are welcoming. After the order the food came quick. I did not expect any great sensation of the food but I did a mistake. The taste of the food was excellent, hot, filling, the... More

First tried Okawari a few weeks ago on a Friday niht , food was lovely and the service was good however the food did take a bit too long to come. You have the option to sit on the floor tables which made the experience fun however the restaurant could do with a bit of paint and some spongier cushions... More

Seems like the place is worn-out and the food is the same. Sushi was old, tempura was oily and yuk, chicken yakisoba was not good. The place needs a new chef. I don't like giving bad reviews but it good quality.

We both had green tea was was constantly replenished. They even brought extra sauce as a request of my daughter at no... More

Came to this restaurant with a group of friends to celebrate. The food was great with good portion sizes. The Sashimi tasted really fresh (ordered 8 piece salmon sashimi and tuna) and the green tea was also really good. Would definitely recommend the sushi and sashimi from this place. Will definitely be coming back here again!

Ask for the buffet otherwise you won't see much evidence that it exists. You get unlimited tuna rolls which is quite a rarity. Cooked dishes are available once, up to 7 which is plenty and everything is very tasty. The staff are a bit vacant but you came to eat a buffet so just enjoy the food and don't waste... More

It was my first visit to Okawari and we were looking for a late evening meal, which it was perfect for as it closed at 11pm. The appearance from outside wasn't amazing, but the inside design and low seating was interesting and made up for it. The waiter wasn't the friendliest but was efficient and accepted our taste card (strangely... More

Perennial servers are a man and woman. The man in particular is quite hostile and rude. Makes you feel as if you've done something wrong, which is going into the restaurant in the first place. They laugh among themselves and it is obvious that they are talking about customers. Sushi and sashimi fish quality is poor, definitely not the freshest and... More
