A very nice pub, clean and not too busy for a Saturday afternoon. I had the steak pie, which was good, but the vegetables and mash it came with were excellent. The beer was nice, the staff helpful and pleasant. Overall a nice stop off...More

Arrived into a silent and VERY awkward dining room. Walked downstairs to order the "thick sausage and caramelized onion bloomer sandwich". When it arrived I found about half a jar of chutney inside the bread and the hard, cold sausages were actually chippalatas. After decomposing...More

I am really sorry you did not have a good experience. Did you speak to a member of the staff at the time?

We had started our evening in The Queens Head - a very good pub but so close to the tube station it was packed. Just a few yards further north is the Glassblower - a Greene King pub (usually means well managed). The Glassblower was...More

Staff were friendly. A promising pub menu. The veggie nachos were very poor - lots of chips, little cheese and just salsa, sour cream and avocado - no beans, etc.

Stumbled upon the pub when looking for lunch and a chance to get out of the rain. Varied menu, reasonably priced too. Enjoyed a nice, hot, tasty meal overlooking the corner of Piccadilly. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere.

Hello, Many thanks for taking the time to leave a nice review. Glad we provided shelter from the rain. Assume you had one of the table upstairs that looks out onto the street. Great for people watching. Hope to see you again soon!

Busy enough to have a good atmosphere but not so packed as to make it hard to get to the bar. Staff seemed to be working very hard and seemed to have the knack of ensuring that no one waited very long to get served....More

Although part of a chain with what seems to have a commissary, the food was served hot, and it was OK.
