Had the steak and ale pie, and while it looked small it was very filling! Deserts looked good too but no space left ;) would go back to try the other pies.

The Blackbird was our first stop on arriving in London. Just a short stroll from our hotel and we were introducing ourselves to London pub culture. It's sometime crowded but always interesting. Staff are friendly. The food was good ... you can't go past the...More

Staff here are very friendly and efficient. My fish pie was very good but served with a parsley sauce that lacked flavour and seemed over-thickened with cornflour. Grilled fennel in the salad was too thick and tough. Good chips.

Good breakfast, nice interior, friendly staff. It took quite a while before we could order something.

Best pub food in Kensiington. Service, surroundings and food in a converted bank building are top notch. The pies are great.

A very disappointing experience. I got a social player and everything about it was sub par. Pakora was doughy, croquets tasted old and the bread dips are misrepresented on the menu due to a slight punctuational error and I was told I was wrong when...More

My family of 5, including 3 kids in their 20's, went here for dinner on a Monday night- we did not have a reservation (probably a good idea to make one) but they quickly and cheerfully found us a lovely table by the window. Great...More

Where ate here on our first night in the UK as it was close and we were very tired. Staff were helpful. My meal was very ho hum, while my husbands was average and yet I saw some others meals delivered nearby that looked great....More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque
white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's
easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with
superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and
Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely
child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to
mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall)
such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming

Well that all depends on how many, time of day for eats, what you are going there for etc etc. Drinks are London prices, £5 for a pint, £8 for a glass of wine. As to food, I'd suggest you Google for the menu as there are so... More
