Hello Hamida, I was sorry to read your review, as a keen fan of the traditional Sunday roast it is obviously a shame to hear that yours was not up to par on this occasion. We take pride on delivering a great Sunday roast experience...More

Nipped in here to take advantage of the beer garden while it was sunny. Didn't stay for long but the outside area is lovely and the toilets are clean. Nice staff.

Good food in a buzzing atmosphere. Staff are jolly and friendly. Arrive early and you can park in the car park; otherwise, it's local onstreet parking. The noise from the pub intrudes into the restaurant emphasised by wooden floors, tables and chairs, but it's a...More

Potentially a great local. Good waiters and waitresses. Here for Sunday lunch. Unfortunately a very long wait for the main course. When it finally arrived the vegetables were undercooked and the battered fish was soggy. Not the first time we've had a bad meal. The...More

The Bald Faced Stag, as you can probably tell from my previous reviews, is my local. It is owned by a chain, Metropolitan Pub Company, who obviously haven't visited their site for a good long while. The pub side is fine - nice wines by...More

Booked Christmas Day dinner here having previously eaten here and paid the over-priced charge you'd expect. The meal was sadly not as expected. You would have hoped that with such a minimal choice and plenty of advance notice, the kitchen would have got it right...More
