ok flavours - nothing extraordinary martinis bad - avoid few staff leading to 50-minute delays. Avoid, especially is you have to go to royal festival hall for an event

We had the Vegetarian Festive Delights Set Menu - the food was great and we very much enjoyed the Chocolate Fondant + the Flaming Passion Fruit. Ambience is simple and quiet.

Came here for my birthday dinner - the second time I'd been to Ping Pong. It's true that tables were packed closely together. However, I didn't find this to be an issue, despite it being a packed Saturday evening. Passionfruit lemonade was lovely, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal! I'd say it's not perfect for a romantic meal, as the... More

Been here several times. Very very busy. Good bar area upstairs. Food nice. Do book and make sure downstairs know you are there and pick up you bleeper. But the tables are so close together and depending on your table you will be constantly knocked by staf and customers passing by. Be warned the place is so popular no one... More

The food was average and the quantity very very poor. The dishes were different and much smaller from the pictures. Truly disappointed!

Great staff who cope with some very busy periods, amazing, gorgeous food and lovely cocktails. My only advice would be don't get pulled into the rush! We have been a few times and it can be so busy that you don't realise you've wolfed your food down in record time. Don't feel pressured, take your time and enjoy- it's worth... More

Ping Pong is a great place to go if you are in a group and want to try lots of everything. It has a fairly broad menu, with something for everyone (even those who are not particularly dim sum fans). The best thing to do is to order lots of variety and just share it round. Particularly noteworthy was the... More

The staff practically ignored my friends and I, unless we quickly tried to grab their attention whilst they were talking past. It took half an hour for a waiter to come to the table to ask us if we wanted to order anything and even then we had to ask the waiter to stop and take our orders.

Met with friends Friday night. Wow was this place buzzing. We started with cocktails which were fab. We all had about 4 dishes each. This was fine although I could have had more. I didn't want to appear the greedy one in front of my friends ha. We were not rushed which was lovely as I hadn't seen my friends... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
