I recently visited Ping Pong Southbank with my girlfriend for my birthday and really enjoyed the experience. The food was delicious, fresh and brought to the table very promptly. The service was also top notch! Although it was a little pricey, it was great for a birthday treat. We're definitely planning a return trip!

We read a lot of good reviews of this restaurant. We find it anonimous. Nothing tipical, cool and well attendent by nice people but the service is hasty, the food complicated to understand and the prices not justified.

Had a really lovely time at Ping Pong, staff were really friendly and the food decent. Went at 12pm on a cold Saturday in January and the restaurant was empty, but by 12.45pm it was full and they were turning people away, so good idea to book ahead. On arrival the staff quite deliberately pointed out that the portions are... More

Great food - ideal food and great for food with friends, the food menu and drinks are hugely broad and very enjoyable. The only thing to improve is service could be a little better. But ideal for somewhere to eat lunch and cant wait to go back for dim sum

I called in with a friend for an early evening bite to eat. We shared six dim sum between us which were all good. Service was fast but not too fast. The main restaurant area was noisy and busy. We sat out in the veranda area that was quieter and heated. Actually the heating is a bit too much in... More

Went here for date night and had a great meal. Definitely recommend pre booking as it get's really busy quickly! It's a menu were you pick 4-6 items to share with your dining partner. We chose 6 and shared them. The food is delicious so tasty and different and the portions are a good size. It's a very nice atmosphere... More

Lovely Sunday lunch with my young family. All you can eat "buffet" on Sundays. You order as much as you want from the menu. We didn't actually eat that much and the waiter was good enough to calculate that it would be cheaper for us to pay for the dishes individually. Gets very busy so booking advisable. Food was lovely,... More

They were very accommodating when a few extra friends turned up for our booking. It was busy inside which gave a nice atmosphere, and the food was yummy and good value. Recommend booking as it's very popular, but I will be back!

Food was fair to good dim sum. Service is quick. Prawn crackers arrived with some screwed up paper in the basket ! A receipt or similar so I guess the basket had been topped up and served to us after other diners had left them unfinished ! Not the best start to a meal ! Health and safety nightmare. Service... Me and my boyfriend visited London for a few days away to celebrate our 2 year Anniversary. It took us 3 days looking up restaurants before we decided on Ping Pong.....and we made a perfect choice! We arrived 25 minutes early and they said no problem and already had our table waiting, our waiter was so friendly and welcoming and... More

Staying in Southbank

Neighbourhood Profile
Southbank
Big time attractions such as the London Eye and a thriving theatre scene (compliments of the National Theatre and the Young Vic) are but a few of the reasons that Southbank is such a collectively cherished part of town. With plenty of family friendly activities and venues lined up along a pedestrianized river bank between Westminster Bridge and Waterloo Bridge, visitors can always expect a casual and festive atmosphere. On top of all the fun stuff to do at Southbank is the opportunity to simply sit back and admire photo-op views of iconic landmarks like Parliament and St Paul's Cathedral, just on across the Thames.
