We have been coming here for a couple of years now whenever we are working in London. Both the quality of food (especially the beef ribs I had on Monday!!!) and the service are very good. I would have no hesitation in recommending this place, it's worth coming here for the pies and steaks.

My family and I enjoyed a decent meal here on a Sunday evening in a nice ambience. Whilst everything didn't go completely swimmingly (otherwise I would have awarded a score of 5), it was very good. The staff were very helpful and friendly - well worth a visit.

After all of the cafes in Kennington FAILED to provide decent plugs and wifi anywhere I was desperate for a work space and a coffee on a Sunday morning. I had always passed Tommyfield but had never been in, Called ahead to ask if they had plugs and they were incredibly helpful - telling me they had a table with... More

This trendy pub is very popular in Kennington, it sets the trends of food and local social gathering with gorgeous Sunday roast and friendly staff. The bar is gorgeous and large, comfortable seats and wifi is offered as well as room hire for private events upstairs. The pub/bar offers also rooms as B&B quite beautifully designed, a very good place... More

went to this bar tonight for drinks after work. had to ask the barmaid 3 times if they sold merlot before she finally said yes. We took our drinks from the bar only to find that all of the tables had reserved signs on them. we were asked to vacate our seats as it was quiz night and all of... More

My visit left me with very few good things to say about the pub. It all started to go wrong when the food arrived; my chicken burger with cheese and bacon arrived dry with an acrid burnt taste minus the cheese and bacon which had magically appeared on my partners beef burger. When this was pointed out to our waitress... More

Thank you for your review of The Tommyfield. The pies are absolutely amazing, especially the chicken pie. Best pie I've ever had. Banoffee pie is also excellent. They also serve Mortimer cider which I think is the best cider there is. Service friendly and exemplary. In the words of Bill Bryson, take my car and go.

I went here to have late dinner around 10pm. They were friendly and served very efficiently. Fish and chips was superb: deep fry batter was crisp and fish itself was tasty. I would like to taste it again soon.

We ate breakfast here. The price and the food were very good. The buttermilk pancakes and the ham and cheddar croissant were good.

So my friend and I went to the Tommyfield for some lunch. My friend had the pork belly which he said it was very nice. However, I had a fillet steak which cost me £23 pounds. Due to the type of steak I could understand the price. However, I would at least it to be cooked how I wanted it.... More

Description
Wonderful sustainable English fish, our famous steaks and old school pie and mash form the heart of our menu. Our chicken and pork is all free-range and we work with some of the best small producers the British Isles has to offer. June 2014 saw the launch of six beautiful bedrooms on our top two floors. Each with their own unique character and charm, they feature either a super king or king-size bed, Egyptian cotton linen, an HD Freeview television, free wireless internet, Nespresso machine, black-out curtains or blinds, mini-fridge and safe as standard. Our private Master Room, with its own bar, is perfect for private parties and events, and hosts one of London's best stand-up comedy gigs every other Thursday.
