Had good old fish and chips. I thought it was great. My 14 year old niece and nephew thought it didn't taste like much. The 12 year old nephew refused to try it. The do open in afternoon then close then open back up for dinner.

I have been in this local yesterday for dinner. I liked a lot fish and chips and the sauces that they served us. So I hope to come back here and eat fish and chips. One waiter was very nice with me, becouse I had a strong ankle pain and he gifted me ointment.

Came her during lunch time, and the restaurant was starting to get packed. We sat down and ordered within the minute. We got two fish and chips, and one beef and onion meat pie. Food arrived very quickly. Huge pieces of cod, and a good amount of chips. The meat pie is nothing special, stick with the fish and chips.... More

One of the things we really wanted to try in London were authentic fish & chips. When we asked the hotel staff where we ought to go we were told that there was a place directly across the side street and two doors down. We tried it and are convinced it doesn't get better than this. It's a bustling place... More

Outstanding authentic fish restaurant. I was very impressed with the quality of the food and the friendly warm service. Great value for money catering to the local community. I would highly recommend.

It' s hard to get good fish and chips in central London - there's only 2 or 3 reasonably priced places I know and this is one of them. Well known to London cabbies (there have their own tables in the corner), this is usually full of Londoners and tourists. Good value (big portions and fair prices), this place isn't... More

By lucky chance this chip shop was the closest one to our hotel ... at time of writing takeaway fish and chips 5.50. Fish fresh, lots of chips and we had friendly service. Steak and ale particularly good with lots of meat and nice peppery gravy.

Very popular 'eat in' fish and chippy in the heart of Waterloo. The fish and chips were excellent so to was the atmosphere (absolutely packed) with people queueing at the door. Unusual touch having complimentary bread & butter, prawns in their shells and gurekins on the side but the slowish service was a slight disappointment. Having said this I will go... More

The fish itself was really good (though the service left something to be desired). However, the woman checking me out put WAY too much lemon on the fish, giving it a strange taste as it mixed with the fried breading. Have them go easy on the lemon and you should be good.
