The restaurant is not elegant, being on the edge of Smithfield market but the food and service was excellent. Great beef, good veg and fries with "crazy " salts. Wines are not expensive. Desserts tasty - sorbets/ices/creme brulee and almond tart. Good evening out and...More

Had a memorable evening at Comptoir Gascon last Friday. My partner and I both had the foie gras burger followed by duck. The chips and mixed green veg we ordered as side dishes were delicious as was the crème brûlée we finished with. The ambience...More

Had an unusual and very good dinner. The piggy treats and duck burger were memorable, as were the moules and sea bass. With puddings and two drinks came to £77 inc service. Good.

We found this gem on open table. The place is known for its duck dishes. No snails because it is very hard to get. They have a nice selection of appetizers and great wine list. The ambience is casual and cozy for a romantic dinner....More

Took friends for the special fixed menu Gascony night and we were served the poorest cassoulet - dry and overcooked - the beans were just a sour mush. The problem was acknowledged for us and the bill adjusted satisfactorily, but everyone in the restaurant had...More
