Thoroughly enjoyable evening. Sons 22nd birthday and we were a party of 4. Managed to arrive at happy hour (nice surprise). Food brilliant. Comedy excellent. Nightclub superb. However all thanks should go to a gentleman called nelson. Not sure if the manger but ruby blue you have made an inspired choice having this man on your staff. 10/10.

Very quiet when we ate there so not a lot of atmosphere, but the food was very nice though the portions could be slightly larger.

Booked here for a Hen do for a three course meal and half a bottle of wine each. It was awful, firstly we waited nearly two hours for our food, when it came out it was cold, dry and absolutely disgusting!! The service is also rubbish. They take more bookings then they can handle. The music on the other hand is... More

Came here with a group of girls on a Friday night. Happy hour is 5-8 which is supposed to be 2-4-1 but was 50% off most drinks. This made cocktails around £4.50 which is a really good price for this part of town. The cocktails were ok. My friends bottle of red wine was pretty awful. We had a sharing... More

Having been to London many times - I can honestly say I would have walked passed Ruby Blue and never given it a second glance. Yes you can see the balcony from Leicester Square but the actual entrance isn't very tempting. However as you go up the stairs it becomes more and more impressive. I was in London on business... I came here at around 11:30pm for so called club. I was told it was £10 by a pr guy then said we could go in for £5 after I said no. Then I heard it was free before 11. Well I had spoken to him before 11 when he told me this. I was surprised that Leicester square had... More

We had a pretheatre meal here. The staff were great fun and given there were two hen parties in they weren't the least bit flustered. Unfortunately it was two for one happy hour so the sharing porn star martinis were a must and were very good. The food was tasty, not spectacular, hot and served promptly.

We went to Ruby Blue Saturday afternoon. The place was empty inside but a few people out on the balcony. It's a nice place to sit and enjoy a drink away from the bustle of London. You can go out on the balcony and enjoy the view across Leicester Square. This is also a good venue to enjoy a night... More

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
