12 of us visited, family dinner Had to wait ages to get served, wouldn't even have said it was particularly busy. Kept having to ask for a drink, really poor service. Food nothing special Expensive, worth trying somewhere else, only paying for the name

Visited this bar with some business friends, had not been on this wharf before. Close to Tower Bridge with a nice view on the river. Like the neighboring bars, it's more a kind of a mix between a bar and a restaurant. I would have...More

You asked me to reply to your post saying how sorry you were for the lack of good service and asking me for some solutions as to how you could make it a better experience for the public. To begin with a more rapid response from your staff to ask for our requirements. There were no staff on hand to deal with our request for some wine.one of our party had to go up to the bar to order it. No attempt was made to suggest any other comparable drinks of a similar price. The sandwiches although " delicately " presented were slightly stale, and not much filling in.The scones, as I said before were rock hard and and the " cream" inedible.I was one of the customers who had to leave without finishing the desserts because of the delay in service.I strongly recommend that the gratuity is left up to the discretion of the individual ( or group) of customers, rather than have it added on by the staff, which seemed to be rather excessive. All in all, not a very memorable experience. Mrs. Hall.
