My husband and I went here on Sunday and we decided to get the sharing roast. We were provided with a lovely half roast chicken each with roast potatoes in a small roasting pan, crunchy vegetables and delicious gravy with red wine. The food was hot, tasty and definitely one of the nicer roasts I've had.

We travelled from Glasgow on 30th November and went into Piccolino for a late lunch on the day we arrived. The food was fabulous and the staff couldn't have treated us better. So much so, we returned on the day we left. Once again, it was outstanding. What impressed me was we were leaving to get our train and in... More

We booked the table on Wednesday night for Friday at 6. I understand this is a very busy time, but felt like we were being rushed out from our table before we even got our meal. My wife had the ribs for starters, which were extremely tough and tasteless, and I had the carpaccio which didn't taste of anything. Now,... More

Attempted to arrive without booking at 8pm informed to come back at 9pm. Excellent receptionist remembered my son's name . Food and service was faultless . Very quick and efficient staff. We were seated to the rear and the only downside is the acoustics. The restaurant is very noisy and at times you are almost shouting to be heard apart... More

Came here spare of the moment last night for a fabulous 40th birthday meal for my sister in law. We had been let down by poor service in the original restaurant we had booked and just came in here off the street. The service food and staff were impeccable and so friendly and made our night thank you again we... More

We dined here recently with a large group to celebrate a family birthday. I liked the bar, we were greeted professionally and the service was good. To be honest I was surprised at the quality of the food as I kind of thought with the numbers involved and the very busy and branded environment, it wouldn't be good - well... More

Piccolino brings a true taste of Italy to the heart of Liverpool. Less than five minutes' walk from Moorfields rail station and easily accessible from the Docks, this Italian restaurant offers a wonderful combination of both modern and classic Italian dishes prepared in an open kitchen in full view of diners. Fresh pasta is made daily from scratch in the pasta kitchen and is a charming spectacle for guests to watch. The menu is rustic, simple and delicious, and created using the finest, freshest ingredients.
