Recently visited as a family. We all had starters, garlic bread was huge and tasty, as was the soup and the bruschetta (which came with cheese too). We were all really pleased with our starters and waiting for our mains. The service was quite slow, and it was a good job we were not in a rush. Starter and main... More

Dined here with friends. Started with a bottle of the house merlot. Excellent and not overpriced. Two of us had the cannelloni, the other had the special penne with chicken in cream sauce. To top it off, we had the cheesecake for dessert. It wasn't what I would have called cheesecake based on the version in the USA, but had... More

In an unpretentious street, and in what looks (from the outside) like a Victorian terraced house, this turned out to be a very inviting and excellent restaurant. Good range of Italian dishes on menu & all 4 of us were pleased with our choices.

Excellent Italian restaurant a little off the beaten track in Lincoln, with an unassuming exterior in a residential street. Had a very good steak and my wide had excellent sea bass. Enjoyed my smoked salmon starter. We shared a delicious limoncello tiramisu also. Very good bottle of red wine.

This is a lovely small restaurant just a short walk from the shopping area. It's unusual in that it's along part of a residential street but this makes it all the more interesting. The owner met us at the door and our table was ready, being seated in the window of the downstairs area. There are only a few tables... More

Hadn't booked and turned upon spec. Quite busy but got a table. Menu reasonably priced and portion size good. Service friendly and efficient. Discreet and prompt. Pasta dishes are well and tomato sauce tasty. Alcohol prices reasonable. Will be back.

Went for a lunchtime special and had the best calzone pizza I've ever had! Then went back for Friday evening meal. prawn starter followed by chicken in brandy and cream -absolutely delicious. Authentic atmosphere and friendly service. Great house red wine too!

Almost walked past it. So glad we didn't! We could see our chef Mario cooking and serving up some very delicious dishes. The food was fab! The wine was fab. Whenever I am in Lincoln again I would definitely visit here again. Our Irish waitress ( i just can't recall her name!?!) was brilliant and couldn't do enough for us.... More

In view of the excellent reviews we were disappointed. Maybe we were unlucky but there was absolutely nothing òutstanding about the starters or pasta main dishes. The lemon tart was stale and tasteless. Only get 3 stars because of the good service.

Thank Bill W
