Visited on busy Saturday night and the service was very friendly. The unique Jeera Chickhen was outstanding, would order it again in heart beat. A stand out dish.

We saw the waiter reuse the slice of lemon, switching from a plate of food to a fresh bowl of salad. Not only was this act disgusting but speaks strongly about the standards of hygiene that the restaurant maintains. The quantity is terribly less and the presentation is lame. Heavily priced menu, plus you'll get charged with extra taxes. All... More
This is total false review as this person has never been to our place!! He seems like our competitor and jealous. He never mentions when or what he ate and what taxes is he talking. Total bogus. Please delete from reviews. Thanks More
We went to this establishment after a long time. Very friendly and ok atmosphere is little bit dated but it brings back all the memories of 80s and 90s... Excellent food, cooked to required taste.. .. Well served with good choice of background music... I would throughly recommend this place for mature people but youngsters can enjoy the hospitality from... More
Food average but was very disappointed when the bill came to discover they had charged me 10% to eat in and a 10% service charge £71 for 3 chicken curries 2 rice 1 side and 2 breads 2 pints and 2 cola. Not value for money I am afraid.
I've been eating here since 1983, same family still running the place, food is great, but a bit pricey. Want a light meal go for the Tali but I've never had a bad meal here. The front is really comfortable, and in the back a great banqueting hall/room. Great place to visit, won loads of accolades.
I have been here a few times recently, The owners are very welcoming and service was impeccable. Great menu , good size portions, My only complaint as with trying to get to any restaurant on the Melton road is parking.
Came here with friends and had the Kenyan style curry.. was delicious and would definitely come back here again for the same meal.. good attentive staff and choice of beers, nice Tuskar to go with the curry however a little overpriced. My other friends all enjoyed their dishes too and would all recommend to friends and family!
I will give this place alittle benefit of doubt, but we booked this restaurant during Diwali celebrations for a large group of family, only to be let down at the door that they couldnt accomodate us even though we pre-booked a week earlier. 3 OAP's and 2 very hungry kids had to wait outside in the cold for 20 minutes... We came to Leicester for the football and had read good things about this restaurant so thought we'd give it a go. Despite being delayed in traffic the staff kept the restaurant open and served us with a delicious meal. Friendly staff and good food, we will be coming again. 5*
Visited this restaurent as part of a Uni reunion when getting together with friends from the late 70's. Food and service was excellent and could understand the recommendation from some locals we met in the Globe pub in town.
