Nice pub with a good selection of real ales - treatment of bar staff to customers can be awful with brusque treatment showing an uncaring/rude attitude. Definitely would not recommend to anyone and I certainly will not be going back.

Got to be the best bar/pub in Blackpool bar none. The quirky "real traditional pub" decor is hard to match. It's evidently been like this a while which really gives it a proper pub feel......helped by the lovely open fire. Beer wise, there's something for everyone. They have carling, carlsberg etc for those fond of the generic brands. However, if... More

Wonderful selection of beers and ciders, and live music too! Even better, the ciders were kept and served at room temperature, letting all the taste out! Bar staff very friendly and knowledgeable! Will definitely be back! Well deserved CAMRA awards!

Quality craft beers at sensible seaside prices. Don't be put off by the location or initial impression of decor this is a gem of a boozer. For those that want more from a pub than a Wetherspoons. And the pizzas are quality too. So glad it was still there from my first visit in 2015.

A couple of years since we were last here, has gone downhill. Needs a refurb - Good choice of real ciders. Real ale available ; Toilets absolutely awful. Probably wont go back, as the welcome wasn't good either.

As the sign says that it's Blackpools hidden gem, there is a excellent selection of real ale and the pub is friendly and clean. We dropped in when there was a Greenpeace Wintermusic festival which provided a great selection of music from 12-12, if you want a decent pint then this is your place

This place is certainly one of the better pubs in Blackpool. Super real ales and a great range of ciders. The night I visited there was a live band who were really good and there was a really nice, friendly atmosphere. The pub is also dog friendly which is great! I've never tried one but apparently the fresh pizzas are... More
