Recently been staying in Blackpool and stopped off at Cookies for a coffee and snack before returning to our Hotel. My friend ordered a toastie which was served on granary bread with a side salad which she thoroughly enjoyed. I had a toasted tea cake and strawberry jam and we were served very quickly by friendly staff. Would recommend and... More

This is a very disappointing review as I usually enjoy my coffee and cakes in here. Today however I pushed the boat out and asked for chicken soup...to look at, it resembled scrambled egg, it was barely warm and the taste was strange. I took it back and asked if I could change it..reasonable I think. I was asked if... More

We called in after seeing a show at the Grand Theatre. They were about to close but were welcoming when we said we only wanted coffees. We had 5 different coffees/hot chocolate and they were very nice. The wait staff were friendly and chatty and I'd go back and sample the food if I were in town again.

Living locally, the other half and I often pop into Cookies when shopping in town. We usually have the all day full English Breakfast which includes toast and tea or coffee for an amazing price of only £10.00 for two people!! We have had other items from the menu and everything has always been excellent quality, hot and tasty. The... More

Had a break for coffee sat outside in the sun. Coffee was rich dark and strong ( have the urge to say like the ideal man lol but I have never dated one like that) Brought to your table by friendly staff. The food that I saw passing looked delicious. Soup and Sandwich combo sounded nice. They are closing for... More

A no frills café. Slightly above average prices. The toilet is up a steep staircase. Staff are super friendly and remember you. The soups are lovely and with a baguette more than enough for lunch. They make their Horlicks (malted milk) really strong and tasty! Just right for a January day.
