We've eaten in the past & decided to celebrate a birthday as we really enjoyed our previous visit meal. The front entrance & bar area was busy & we were shown to a table in the back. The server was fantastic & very helpful. She allowed us tine to order at our own speed which suited all of us. We... More

So we stopped by here off the back of a local recommendation that the old (succesful) owner had returned to re-vamp the menu and atmosphere of the establishment. First off, we ate on a Saturday night and there were perhaps 4 other tables being used (not a good start). We chose to sit in the more casual bar area by... More

We have ate here on a number of occasions while in the lakes, it is now called Cantina. It is a wine and tapas bar now. We went yesterday and had a nice evening, Giovani has taken it over again and is a fantastic host. We will go there again when we are next in the lakes.

Ate here last Friday and wish we hadn't bothered. It was teaming down with rain and we didn't want to wander too far so we ended up here. Had tomato garlic bread to start which was very stodgy, calzone was not cooked as it had large lumps of unmelted cheese throughout, lasagne was ok. No smiles from any of waiting... More

Lovely interior, staff and food - we had a pleasant couple of hours there. Would recommend to others for a special meal.

The restaurant was not open until 1700 but the staff allowed us to stay out of the rain and have a drink. The food was plentiful and very nice in its presentation. The service was good and was fairly attentive without been overpowering. Sat away from the main part of the restaurant but was quiet and nice

We visited here for the second time and the food was nice, but can't be described as anything more than average. We had garlic bread and mushroom starters. The garlic and herb bread was better than last time, as previously you could not taste the garlic. For the main I had spaghetti bolognese, which was tasty but could have been... More

A first class restaurant with a log burning oven that gave the food a very good taste, can get busy recommend that you book in advance.
