Food was so good, we all came here for dinner 3 nights in a row. Venison haunch was very tasty. Had that twice. Beef madras was also enjoyed twice by my teenage son. The stuffed guinea fowl was also lovely. Husband enjoyed the lamb Henry and beef pie (he had the small pie size and it was still plenty) and... More

Lovely choice on the menu and was made to feel very welcome by the staff. Really reasonably priced. Great portion sizes and really good atmosphere. Would advise booking as it is really busy! Traditional pub.

Nice pub for lunch with a decent choice. Good prices and pleasant service. We went after the Easter rush on Weds and the place with empty. Dinner menu looked good.

Great food, and fabulous atmosphere. Prefetch place for a pint and food after a long walk. Dogs are allowed in the bar area. Reservation in busy holiday weekends is better but we managed to get a table without one.

We called here on recommendation and very glad we did! Friendly down to earth and great tasting food. Just what we all needed after a good walk. We will definitely call here again.
