Dropped in for a cold drink after a long walk... The staff seemed a bit disorganised, but the drink was extremely tasty! Would have had something to eat, but (and it was a Sunday afternoon) there didn't seem to be much on offer! I have to admit I didn't ask or search much, though!

This is an excellent little coffee shop in Keswick; the cake cabinet was outstandingly good, the coffee is excellent and there is free wifi with sofas and tables upstairs. The service is also excellent. I wish I could import it home! (although I would eat too much of its delightful cake and cookies!) Very good for gluten-free too.

Relaxed and cosy atmosphere, for everyone – including dogs – mostly on a first floor; limited selection of snacks and pastries, but good quality – dare to try the chocolate fountained marsh-mallows; range of coffees and teas; packs of Trivial Pursuit cards on all tables, a nice touch.

Has an amazing array of drinks and snacks and the hot chocolate is amazing. It has melted chocolate, marshmallows and cream on it and it tastes gorgeous. It also has a chocolate fountain!!!

Visited for afternoon tea. We placed our order for tea with lemon and a filter coffee with scone and a teacake. We found a table upstairs and were served quickly. However the tea arrived with a slice of lemon but no teabag so the assistant had to go back downstairs for one. The food was good, but the most distracting... More

We called at the Java coffee shop whilst having a walk into Keswick. My husband had an afternoon cream tea(£4.00), and I chose to have a go large (90p extra if indoors, 60p extra if taking it out) almond hot chocolate with marshmallows (£3.60), and topped with coconut. The drinks and cream tea were all delicious. There are lots of... More

Lovely dog friendly cafe. Best flat white we had in the lake district and gorgeous Bounty milkshake.

An independent quirky coffee shop. Specializing in Coffee and Cakes.. It is also dog friendly. We have outside seating situated in the market square for those warm sunny days.. We also have upstairs seating with large comfy sofas perfect for those cold winter days.. We have a 4 tier chocolate fountain perfect for a little treat or even to keep the kids occupied while you sit back and relax with a perfect cup of coffee... Need we say more!!
