Excellent pub, great atmosphere, superb food and phenomenal staff. The goulash and the pie is worth spending a weekend in Keswick for!

Visited with friends, kids and dogs after a rainy walk. Pub was lovely and cosy inside and dogs were made welcome. Bord games on the bar to keep little ones entertained. Food was fresh and served quickly. A friends house especially (goulash) looked and he...More

On the whole a good selection of food and well presented and cooked; though my last meal was a little overdone and it seems very few places these days can make proper chips. Service was good and friendly, atmospheric place to eat.

Had lunch here with husband, son and daughter before visiting the Lakes Distillery. The food was good, we had the nachos and chili to share and then the goulash. Very good. Dog friendly so we're able to take our cockerpoo in. Definitely would go back.

My wife and I ate here. I sampled a well kept real ale brewed locally. The food was very good and the price was reasonable for the large portions we got. I wished I'd tried the goulash - the smaller dish looked enough.
