Called in for Sunday lunch and found the staff very helpful and the lunch was delicious, had a corner of the pub to ourselves with comfy leather couches, will definitely be back.

Fantastic place, amazingly friendly staff and regulars. Its lovely inside with exposed beams and a great range of food and drinks including lots of wheat free choices. Really great night.

The food we had tasted like something out of the freezer that had been microwaved to warm it up. Main courses cost just under £10 each, but should be less than £5. I have had much nicer Weatherspoon's meals for half the price. Quite how they made chips taste so bad I don't know. We eat at about 5:30pm on... More

Popped in here for a drink in the evening. Definitely a locals pub judging by the clientele. Was expensive considering it wasn't in the centre of town and the could only offer a Guinness surge rather than a proper pint of draught Guinness. Nice interior though and polite service.

We visited on a bank holiday, yet the lunchtime deals were still available. Although the portions were not huge, for the price it is still good value, and to be fair, the menu does state that the portions will be smaller. Our family had lasagne, BBQ chicken, veg lasagne, and children's pizza. Everyone was happy with the meal. The service... More
