Have visited many times and can’t fault the food or service. Not tried their cafe at Kendal yet but if it’s anything like Plumgarth it’ll be great. Well done Sisters!

Cheery, simple and good. The soup is a real draw. Creamy butternut squash with a hint of chilli. What could possibly be better on a cold winter day. Popular and busy all day all year. Very handy for the farm shop.

Had a couple of very nice salads here on the outside seating decking. Can get very busy, a good thing, but time it right and you're in for a treat. Plumgarths Farm Shop next door also worth a visit 😀

Stopped here for a sandwich and tea just before Christmas. The paninis were excellent; reasonably priced and well made. There was the option to forgo the irritating piles of salad that are so often placed on food like this and are rarely wanted. Service was...More

This is a decent cafe with average priced food and drinks. The food is good, but not exceptional. I am at a loss as to why this place is rated the best in Kendal. There are several better, IMHO

I would say not inside, it is quite small and wouldn’t be suitable. The outside seating area would be ok I guess.
