Popped in on a cold and drizzly Sunday , some great ales on the pumps and enjoyed the roast beef dinner next to a very welcoming open fire . Dog friendly which is a bonus and catered for my gluten free needs nicely . All the staff were friendly polite and efficient . Would definitely recommend and will be back... More

Went for our anniversary. Just found the menu limited not good when there is more choice at weatherspoons. My wife loved her food where I was left feeling gutted. It is a really nice place. As a restaurant it is beautiful and the service was 10 out of 10. The waiters and waitresses were brilliant. I love the bar too.... More

I have visited several times for food and drink. It is a lovely rustic place with plenty of seats. The drink is very reasonably priced for the area. I would highly recommend booking. The place is a little small so if it's busy can get packed out easily but well worth a visit!

We go for Sunday lunch fairly regularly and the roast is always pretty nice and a good price as well. The thing that lets it down is the noise from the kitchen. I'm not talking general cooking noises, it's the fact that the radio is playing louder than the music in the restaurant and the staff then feel the need... More
