Refuelled here after doing 40miles on the bike. Very lovely salad and a gorgeous quiche (leak, feta, sun blushed tomato). My boyfriend had the chilli and jacket potato. Very lovely, freshly made salad on both plates.

We visited at the end of March and we were recommended by our friends to visit here due to my wife's dietary requirements. We were warmed by the super friendly lady who we believe ran the cafe who told us she was just finishing an interesting article and if we would like to take a seat she would be with... More

Had smokey bean wraps and quiche salad. So tasty and generous portions. Worth the money. Happily provided tap water. Would definitely go again.

This has to be Ambleside 's hidden gem, off the beaten track in the town centre. It is a small vegan and vegetarian cafe that even carnivores would not complain about. You will receive a warm welcome and have a wide selection of foods. We had a feta cheese and mixed olive salad as well a hummus and roasted peppers... More

We had lunch here on a very rainy day in Ambleside. Seating is limited but the staff are very friendly. We loved the menu and food, my jacket potato was a little under done but that's being very picky. Best diner for veggies in Ambleside in our opinion. Would recommend.

Unsure where to eat in Ambleside we found this place thanks to tripadvisor. What a find! Absolutely delicious and interesting food. I had the dipping platter which includes homemade hummus and roasted veg. Gorgeous! It is only a little place so you need to time it right at busy times.

Stopped off here for some tea & cake after a long walk. Really enjoyed the cake platter & chai. Perfect way to end my day in the Lakes. The pear and almond cake was delicious. Friendly staff & will look forward to visiting here again

Cant recommend this place enough. It was an invaluable pit-stop on a wet Friday lunchtime. Fantastic hosts (good luck to the pregnant owner!) with smiles on their faces and insight on the local area and food/drinks being served. My wife and I shared a sandwich and a toasted ciabatta and were stuffed. Side-salads were a nice touch. Only complaint was... More

We were delighted to find this gorgeous little cafe which serves a great selection of vegetarian food. We visited one day for coffee and cake and returned the next day for lunch. I particularly recommend the mixed berry and polenta cake, which is just one of several gluten free options. I also enjoyed the carrot satay soup and thought the... More

Wonderful vegetarian food. Yummy black beans in wraps. Delicious gluten free cakes too. Off a little side street next to Stock Gill and the waterwheel.
