Another fantastic meal at Matthew’s. Delicious, generous portions, very fair prices, great atmosphere and always welcoming. We go every time we are in Ambleside and are always delighted. Recommend booking as Matthew’s is very popular and always full. See you again soon.

We booked a table during the early bird 5pm to 7pm slot, there's a good choice and they don't skimp on the size so much so we couldn't indulge in the puds. Very good food served by very friendly staff.
