My companion likes American pancakes so took him here for a treat to start our grand day out to tunnels, bunkers and castles for his birthday. He approved, which is actually pretty important because he is the pro in relation to pancakes. So, pancakes were top stuff, the vanilla milk shake to die for and the whole lot was pretty... More

We popped into this cafe after spotting the sign outside for a cream tea and hot drink for £4. We could not believe that it came with 2 scones - excellent value for money. The scones were very fresh and had been slightly warmed. However, it was spoilt a little by the tea arriving at the table as a teabag... More

We cane today to have a birthday breakfast my husband and I and we found one table available outside with only one chair. I went inside and asked the girl behind the counter if I could grab a chair from inside so we could sit with our dog outside, she said she would bring it as she had to ask... More

We really enjoyed eating here with our 2 yr old as there was a box of kiddie toys and she was welcomed to sit and play as we ate. The milkshakes were awesome!! The American Pancakes were too dense and heavy, they need a lighter buttermilk mix for those. We would definitely eat here again, it felt welcoming and relaxing... More

I've been in Canterbury for many years and had never ventured into Chambers - foolish me! I've been three times in the last few weeks! If you like American pancakes served in a myriad of ways, this is the place to go! The pancakes are thick and I had huevos pancheros on my first visit, which had a stack of... More

Can here for lunch with friends who recommended it. Ate the big american breakfast (served all day) and had a milkshake. Couldn't make up mind on flavour of shake and was advised by waiter we could mix. I had a white chocolate and raspberry, delicious ! The meal itself was really lovely and a huge plateful. Service was attentive and... More

After walking pass this place for a few years I finally managed to visit this morning... Wish I hadn't now! i ordered the American breakfast and the pancakes were so hard you couldn't chew them, the scrambled eggs can only be described as ready made heat in the bag rubbish. To be fair the hash browns were edible. At no... More

Great little visit for late brunch. American pancakes were very filling. Coffee was a tad bitter. Milkshake was good!

Found this place off the main high street and is a lovely place to have had lunch in. The veggie breakfast was lovely and was served with pancakes which was an unusual but lovely change rather than having toast. The food came quickly and the service was really good so this cannot be faulted. Aside from the veggie breakfast, the... More

I fell in love with Chambers whilst studying in Canterbury and will always return there if I'm visiting. The chorizo hash browns were my favourite and the milkshakes were incredible. Nice atmosphere, service can get a little slow when it's busy but it's the sort of place you don't mind waiting around in! Reasonably priced and a good range of... More
