We were a party of 10 who visited recently for a business dinner and we dined in the upstairs private room. We were hosting important business guests who all praised the restaurant and the food. Service was excellent - friendly, polite and non-intrusive. 3 courses of food - all outstanding. Wine, beer and non-alcoholic drinks all fabulous. All our meals were... More

I had tried to book online for a table but was advised that the restaurant had no available tables for the evening we wanted. When we arrived in Canturbury we went for a stroll around & I came across the restaurant & decided to check on the off chance whether they had a table. And they did. (I think the... More

A great location with easy parking and train closby with seating area at the front it made a great welcome drink location. The food was pre ordered and came fast and hot all food was beautifully cooked. We were a party of 13 which grew to 15 but they were very accommodating.

The breads, the entrees and even the cheese plate was not only artistically prepared but very good. The Chutney on the cheese plate was devine. You can not go wrong with this small but fine bistro in the middle of downtown.

I've been wanting to eat here for a while now, and finally got round to booking a table for two last Friday night...Well worth the wait! The best food we've had in a long time! Everything was absolutely delicious, we both had the asparagus to start, followed by the beef and now I can't wait to return! Deeson's has quickly... More

We happened on this Canterbury gem last week, and were greeted by very friendly staff, seated promptly, though I did make reservations earlier in the day. We ordered from the pre- theater menu and could not have been more pleased. Each flavor complimented the dish without overpowering. Freshness is obvious and really appealing.

Whatever it was, it was good. Nice, juicy scallops, good beef filet and braised lamb. The wine list is pretty long, and includes surprising bottles from the UK and New Zealand. We concluded our meal with British cheese. The variety was tasty, but a bit flat. The atmosphere of the place is very nice. They attract a diverse crowd, which... More

The food here is always fantastic. Locally produced, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. The staff are always friendly and the atmosphere inside is very pleasant. I think you'd struggle to find better and fresher food around (British food). Great selection of beers and wines to compliment also. Always a vegetarian option available too.

BOOKING Advisable to book in advance - by at least one week. It's always busy and tables on a Friday night are scarce. Every table was taken. The restaurant confirm reservations by telephone on the afternoon. AMBIENCE We have eaten here several times and always feel that it's the best restaurant in this area. It's smart, immaculately clean, with darkly... More
