Nice clean and tidy premises. Nicely varied menu without being fussy. Good portions at a fair value. Pensioner lunch menu very good value.

This was our 2nd visit for Sunday lunch from the carvery, I have a broken foot, the first time we went my husband went inside to see if there was a table, explains my walking difficulty, straight away a reserved sign was put on the table in front of the open fire, saving me the few steps up into main... This probably is the best run pub/restaurant I've ever been to. I can't fault the management and think they went above and beyond what I expected. They were utterly brilliant in sorting out a few small problems with our order and couldn't apologise enough. Highly recommended.

Biggest gripe apart from £3.75 for a pint is there is no wheelchair access, If there is we couldn't find it,we struggled to get my sister in the pub and the toilet was the same struggle but worse.I thought it was a law now that you had to have this ,but I could be wrong

Everybody at my meal agreed that this was the best carvery they had visited. The landlady and staff were very friendly and willing to make my day as special as my family had planned. My husband has been recommending here to his work colleagues all this week it was that good! Car parking space is plentiful. Will be going back... More

We went here with family without realising there was a Halloween party going on, so this review may not be a true reflection of the every day. It was extremely loud and bustly, but then there were childrens' entertainers there and all sorts going on. There was a long wait for our food, which again, may not be normal, but... More

Sunday carvery was the best I have had in a long time, plenty of meats and the crackling & parsnips are amazing. Make sure to get here as soon as it opens at midday or reserve in advance.

Stayed away with work, normally there are loads of great places to eat out but in this part of Southampton the choice is poor, actually very poor. This place looked nice from the outside and decent enough on the inside. Was surprised by the average and unadventurous menu though. Main course of spare ribs was such hard work to eat,... More
