Perhaps it was because we were there at the end of November, but the place felt a little tired and scruffy. Not the sort of place we would choose to revisit.

The town has a wonderful selection of antique shops, and beautiful buildings, but the one shop that caught my eye was the House of Cheese. Small but packed to the rafters with a marvellous selection of cheese, many local and foreign varieties are stocked. The owner was very helpful in helping us choose a couple of different cheeses, which we... More

Nice high Street with lots of lovely looking antique shops, cafes and restaurants. Beautiful old market hall. Parking is easy too if you follow the signs to the main car park.

We visited Tetbury after spending the morning in Westonbirt Arboretum nearby. It is well worth visiting if you are in the area. The streets are lovely with old stone cottages, small shops, cafes and restaurants. There is an ancient market place below the town hall where they still have some stalls with local crafts and produce. We had a nice... More

Tetbury is a really lovely little town with beautiful old buildings and quirky little boutiques and many antique shops. It is a pleasure to wander around and has nice coffee shops to stop for a break. Not to be missed, off course, is the wonderful Highgrove shop.

Lovely old English town. Lots of antique shops. Country walks and English pubs. Many charity shops for a good browse. An open air market under the old wash house and next door art and craft shows.

We visited Tetbury on the day of the Town Cryers competition - you can imagine the scene, dozens of portly bearded men accompanied by their ladies all in 17th century dress - it was like stepping back in time! This, coupled with a lot of lovely antiques shops made it a very pleasant experience.

I have passed through here twice and each time the beauty of the main market square with its old original town hall (I think that's what it is) with its massive pillars amazes me. This not really on the way to anyway but it's a thriving place which is why it has retained its charm

Clearly where the Prince of Wales does his shopping. Great shops, lovely market square, and interesting architecture.
