Cream tea included gluten-free options and was excellent. Delicious homemade scones and jam. Great to talk with one of the co-owners who was very friendly and served us well.

Having recently been diagnosed Celiac this home from home, had a wide menu of Gluten free foods.Very welcoming staff with genuine core beliefs. Our cocker spaniels were treated as our extended family and we appreciated both the food and ambiance,In a busy world, that we only pass thro, you have created a peaceful and enjoyable haven.

Visited The Old Bakery Tearoom today and enjoyed an amazing cream tea. Homemade scones and jam, and a proper pot of tea. This place is so popular, people were booking a table, going away and coming back again in 10 minutes. Great atmosphere and excellent service from my namesake. Simply the Best!

Hello Alan H Glad that we were able to fit you in and that you enjoyed your cream tea! We are often very busy - I do encourage people to book in advance but am always happy to reserve tables as we go. Proper scones and tea - has to be a winner! Many thanks. Alan & Jackie More

Lovely cosy place where you are not rushed. Fantastic scones and proper tea. Tea, coffee and cakes reasonably priced but over £7 for a jacket potato is a bit over the top. Just go for the tea and cakes and you will not be disappointed.

Visited today with my wife while enjoying a relaxing wander around Stow On The Wold. We were greeted warmly and found the owner very friendly. We both had a cream tea and we both agreed it was the best we had ever had. We are regular visitors to tea rooms, both independent run premises and National Trust properties and we... More

Hello Stuart K It is always an encouragement when we hear that our cream teas are "measured" against other premises and institutions. Now in our twelfth year, we continue to make all of our own scones, cakes and jams, amongst many other items that we offer for lunches and lighter snacks. Glad that we were able to enhance your day... More

Description
PLEASE NOTE: We will be CLOSED from FRIDAY 7th OCTOBER AND RE-OPEN ON SATURDAY 22nd OCTOBER for our autumn break. We are an owner operated traditional tearoom. Much of our menu is made here on the premises, including Soups, Dressings, Sauces, Jams and of course all of our cakes and scones. We make everything from basic ingredients, not pre prepared mixes. Our coffee and tea is Fairtrade. The coffee is freshly ground and we use loose leaf tea, with the exception of herbal teas.We aim to source our produce locally as we believe in supporting local suppliers where possible. We also provide a Gluten Free selection of meals, including homemade Gluten Free scones, so a cream tea can be had by everyone!Vegetarian options are always available. We are visited by many customers time and time again, along with strong support from locals who live in the town. Regular hours are 10am to 4.00Pm (5pm Saturdays). Please note we are closed on Sundays and Thursdays. Do ring to check if you are coming from a distance. Bookings for tables is welcomed and often necessary to guarantee a table. Parties catered for.
