This place was really cute, and really packed. I loved it and it seemed like it had a great selection of delicious food, but by golly gee whiz was it expensive! I couldn't really find anything worth paying for but settled for a lemonade, which was very good and refreshing, but I thought: was my lemonade really worth £3.50... it... More

My husband and I moved to the area about a month ago. One day, while exploring, we came upon this sweet, little restaurant. It was obvious that all the food was made from scratch and, as we hadn't had lunch, we decided to sample the food. I had Quesadillas and my husband had pork. We also ordered olives and a... More

Olivas is tucked away down a backstreet in the very attractive village of Painswick, but can’t be missed as it has an old-fashioned bicycle propped up outside. We were beginning to give up hope of finding somewhere for lunch on a very busy half-term Saturday when most of the other eating places in Painswick were either full or about to... More

Dear Sunny Jim Tank you for you review, nice of you to mention the air ambulance idea, we collect about £100 to 150 a year, the idea came up one Sunday afternoon when I saw passers taking photographs of it, so I thought I would ask for a contribution and give it to a good cause. More

We stopped here for lunch on a visit to Painswick after wandering past the sign on the main road. Lovely quaint little place. The young lad serving was very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, we had a deli platter and the quesadillas, washed down nicely with some lovely red wine. We enjoyed it so much that we took some... More

We had a late lunch, the food was excellent, side salads were delicious and perfectly dressed. The coffee was fabulous. Service was great, the only downside was the cost! 3 sandwiches, an aubergine bake, 2 coffees and 2 waters came to £45!

4 of us went here for a coffee one day in our stay in Painswick. There was a young man serving and he was very helpful and polite. The coffee was lovely and the food looked great

Stopped by for lunch given the lovely reviews but it didn't match up for us. The sandwich was ok and average and so was the service, with only other table occupied we were surprised it took so long. Won't be in a rush to return. Much preferred the Patchwork Mouse

Sorry for the experience , Yes the patch work mouse is a great little place to, we repeatedly send customers their way if we are full or about to close. I am sure they do the same, we are a close business community, the more there're of us keeping the town alive !!!! the better. Thank you More
