We visited Dosa Park on the recommendation of my son for his birthday meal. We were a group of 5 and I assume they had stuck an additional chair on the end of a table of 4, but we were right by the door and was absolutely freezing in that seat every time someone went in or out. There were other empty tables further in that could of accommodated us. The menu options were pretty good, lots of choice, including the vegetarian/vegan options and everyone enjoyed their food. The paneer masala was particularly good, a definite favourite with my daughter and myself. I would advise ordering one portion of rice between two people though as we found it a bit much. Service was OK but I did feel we were pushed into trying the Dosa speciality that none of us really liked, and one of the meals arrived at least 10mins after the others had been served although the waiter did apologise for the delay. I also asked for a jug of water to be replaced twice and neither arrived. I think on another day the little irks we had probably wouldn't be there, so all good :)

I recently visited Dosa park Cirencester, a cozy Indian restaurant with an inviting atmosphere. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and guided me through the menu with detailed explanations of each dish. They ensured that my meal was customized to my spice tolerance, which I appreciated.
As for the food, I started with a plate of Chicken 65, and they were crispy, packed with well-seasoned potatoes and peas. For the main course, I had the butter chicken with naan. The butter chicken was creamy and mildly spiced, just as I requested, and the naan was soft and fluffy, perfect for soaking up the curry. My companion tried the lamb biryani, which was aromatic and bursting with flavor. Every bite was a delightful mix of tender meat and fragrant rice. The portions were generous, and the prices were reasonable for the quality of the dishes. The restaurant also offers a great selection of vegetarian options, like the palak paneer and dal makhani, which I look forward to trying next time.
If you're looking for authentic Indian food, The Dosa Park, cirencester is a must-visit. I highly recommend trying their mutton chukka and garlic naan!

Dropped in having not been since a pre-opening session, and after strong recommendations from friends. We were delighted by the welcome and assistance with the menu. The two of us shared everything - Chetinad Fish Fry (non-veg starter) , Masala Vada (doughnuts) and Lamb Thali (Lamb curry with soup starter on the side, about 6 small bowls of very varied additions, and a small sweet bowl to finish). The variety of tastes was enthralling and everything was delicious. Never a dull moment with this unique menu. Dosapark has received its drinks licence and we enjoyed a reasonably priced bottle of Pinot Noir with this tremendous meal. Thank you. We will be back!

Apparently the food is quite nice if you get to eat it, but their online delivery system relies on a piece of paper being walked from the till and handed over to their kitchen.
They had run out of paper tonight so they charged me full price and the order was not even noticed, after calling to chase an hour later they were surprised anyone had ordered online had no idea how long it would take to fulfill.
Was thoughtfully offered the family meal being delivered ‘a lot later’ at full price so instead we chose a refund which they promised as ‘soon as we can’.
Much better and more competent options in the area for home eating. Avoid this one.

Dosa Park Cirencester
Dear Mr. White,
Thank you for your feedback. We’re truly sorry for the experience you had with your order, and we completely understand your frustration.
To clarify, when your order came through, our manager attempted to reach you to discuss the situation, but unfortunately, the call went unanswered. Due to our system's auto-accept feature—designed for less busy times—your order was unintentionally accepted during peak hours when we had intended to decline it. When you later called to check on the order, our staff member, unaware of the earlier call attempts, assumed the issue was due to a missing printer roll and conveyed this incorrectly. We regret the confusion and any inconvenience this caused you.
We take full responsibility for what happened and are deeply disappointed that we didn’t meet your expectations. Your experience is not reflective of the standards we strive for, and we would love the opportunity to serve you again and make it right. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us directly, and we’d be happy to ensure your next experience is a great one.
Once again, we sincerely apologise and appreciate your understanding.
Best regards,
Omer

Twelve friends ordered a takeaway from this restaurant and it was extremely poor
None of the food cartons were labelled and so it was impossible to tell what was what!!!
The Naan breads were very small
Every dish looked the same either green or orange and all dishes were very watery.
Would not recommend at all

An amazing new addition to Cirencester’s restaurant scene. We had a lovely evening for my husband’s birthday. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. They explained many of the dishes to us - as quite a few were different from the usual Indian restaurant offering. We were also excited to find that over half the options are vegetarian. Prices were very reasonable and it helps that you can take your own alcohol.

We went to DosaPark a couple of days after it opened, so giving that context here. However, some of the issues we experienced in terms of really slow service, meals being brought out over a 10-minute period rather than all together, some meals not arriving at all, others arriving that were different to what was ordered, I don't think should be happening. It took a very long time to get the soft drinks that were ordered, we knew of the lack of licence ahead of time and that was no issue, but waiting 20 minutes for a lemonade is. Plates not being cleared, cutlery being cleared and not replaced, it was just a pretty disappointing experience. Only reason this is a 2-star not 1-star is because the majority of the food was excellent, cauliflower starter, dosa, but chicken lollipops were just wings.
The restaurant space itself lacks any real atmosphere and has the feel of a popup with no real investment.
We will try it again in a couple of months as the food is worth it, but if the same issues remain then we won't bother again.

First time of trying the restaurant, and not disappointed! The food was excellent and plentiful and the service was very good (although when we wanted to order more drinks he was missing for a while!) He was very helpful when we asked about the dishes- there are lots of unusual and exciting things to try on the menu as well as the traditional dishes we all love. The dosas are a crispy pancake , very light and easy to eat, with lots of delicious filling. The thali was a whole meal in itself and excellent too. I tried the trio of Indian deserts and they were interesting and generous portions….be nice to have the option to choose just one of them as a single dessert (and maybe drop the “English” puddings which seem a little out of place?) . One of our party was vegetarian and he was delighted at the choice of suitable dishes on the menu.
We will definitely go back, as so many other dishes to try! (hopefully the Xmas decorations will be gone by then!) Dosapark can be a little hard to find, but it is really close to the town centre. There is some free parking at the front but it’s just a minutes walk from the Brewery car park, it’s faces Waitrose on the gyratory system. I hope many others find it and enjoy it too.

Dosa Park provided outstanding catering for our large event with over 200 guests, serving an authentic South Indian menu. The food quality and taste were simply superb, and we received wonderful feedback from our guests, they truly enjoyed each and every dish( all age Group). Our delicious lunch made our event more special.
We had also arranged take away boxes who couldn't attend the event. We also received many calls appreciating about the food and inquiring about the caterers..
A special thanks to Omer Rahim and his team of talented chefs especially for the Sambar—perfectly cooked with lentils, vegetables, and aromatic spices.
Highly recommended for anyone looking for exceptional South Indian cuisine.

Me and my partner went here today for lunch we are both vegetarian and asked the waiter what he recommended, we both often have Indian food but what he recommended we hadn’t had before it was delicious we were so full he made us up a doggy bag to take home the food we couldn’t eat. The waiter was a genuinely nice person we ordered bread with our meal and he told us we didn’t need it (normally restaurants try to upsell) as what we had ordered was enough and he was right. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Dosapark catered my son’s birthday celebration, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the experience! We had nearly 70 guests, and the food was a massive hit with both kids and adults. The Dosapark team arrived 20 minutes early, which was a pleasant surprise. The service was outstanding, and the dishes were absolutely delicious. The lamb biryani was exceptional, and the achari daal was a crowd favorite. The chicken 65 was incredibly tasty, while the butter chicken was simply mouthwatering, and the chilli paneer was fantastic. The variety of options meant there was something for everyone’s tastes. I highly recommend Dosapark for any event—they truly made my son’s birthday celebration even more memorable.

Had been looking forward to visiting for ages awaiting its opening. We were a party of 11. Off to a poor start straight away when 2 Drinks were forgotten but we didn’t mind so much. The mains came out somewhat cold anyway but then there was no sign of rice and naan breads…they came over to ask if everything was ok as if we had been able to start eating just a bowl of curry and we mentioned not having rice/breads, they eventually came out another 10 minutes later but by this point we had been sat around a table looking like lemons unable to start. They reheated one curry after we asked but took their time which then meant the rice was cold as there was no way of keeping food warm like traditionally seen. One person on our table refused to eat because by this point everything had been so poorly done. One main didn’t even come out at all, we told the staff and they didn’t seem fussed that one person was without food and the waiter didn’t even know what curry to bring out for him so clearly they had not taken the order down properly, they then brought him out the wrong curry despite him reminding them. Overall, absolutely shambolic. The waiter at the end apologised and said that it was simply because they were too busy, perhaps too much focus on takeaways going out and the kitchen could not handle it. Shame as the food that was able to be consumed albeit cold seemed to have some decent flavour to it. Will not be recommending or returning.

New restaurant in Cirencester, so had to try it out of course. Located in a building that has had a string of failed restaurants, probably due to its location away from the town, so to survive here the food and service needs to be exceptional.
Bearing in mind that Dosa Park had only just opened, we were there on just its second night, the interior felt a bit odd. Very simple, and lacked atmosphere. It felt like they had opened a bit too early and were not quite ready. Or maybe this is the look and feel they were going for?
No alcohol licence when we visited, although we were told this is coming. Again, maybe better to have waited for that before opening.
If you could eat with your eyes then Dosa Park would be rated very highly. The food looked great. The dosas are impressive and the thali promised great things with two types of breads and lots of little dishes. Unfortunately the taste failed to match.
Everything was ok, but just ok. A little bland which is highly unusual for South Indian food! The lamb curry was watery and lacked spice. Nothing really stood out and we were left underwhelmed.
I stress this was very early days and these could have been just teething problems - we’ll wait some time and visit again I’m sure, but until then there are probably better Indian options in Cirencester.

With polite, charming and attentive service and fantastically balanced home-style Indian cooking, dhosa served the best food I have had in some time and is up there with the best Indian food I've ever had. The host squeezed us in on a Friday night with a warm and friendly greeting and took our order promptly. The food was brought out quickly too - I had chicken tikka masala, my partner, a vegetarian, had a vegetarian Thai. The food was light, tasty and nourishing without being heavy or oily like you often find in some restaurants. The flavours were well balanced with more robust spices like cumin singing in perfect harmony with the more delicate soprano of cardamom and coriander. If I had an Indian mum - this is what I'd imagine/hope she'd have served. Lastly we finished with gulab Jamen - little light sponge spheres served in an unctuous sugar syrup, delicately flavoured with cardamom and almond - a wonderful finish to a wonderful meal. They've only been here 6 months - book in while you still can.

Visited with friends who love Indian/Asian food. Two of the party had the lamb thali and said it was delicious and very flavoursome.. I chose chicken tikka massala, however it was very spicy, the staff very kindly had the kitchen take the spiciness down and it was tasty but still rather spicy for my liking.
Service was unhurried and extremely polite.
Will definitely return (when I'll be asking for a chicken or vegetable korma).
