Great food served with very friendly efficient staff. Very relaxed atmosphere. Very busy, so would recommend booking in advance if you do not want to be disappointed.

As a restaurant the mousetrap was definitely the best place in Bourton that I and my boyfriend tried. He had chicken and I had the nut roast - they were utterly delicious. The puddings though.. we're out of this world. We had sticky toffee pudding...More

Walked up to the Mousetrap as Bourton was so busy and so glad we did. Only a 2 minute walk from the centre of Bourton on the Water, we were met by friendly, helpful staff, trying the local beers on tap before deciding which to...More

The Mousetrap Inn Restaurant is the heart of our traditional Cotswold Inn. We are open to non-residents all day, every day. We have a comprehensive daytime breakfast, brunch and lunch menu serving up everything from a full English breakfast to smashed avocado on toast to pub stalwarts like our very popular Mousetrap Burger. Our a la carte dinner menu comes into play at 6pm each day and of course we offer a superb Sunday lunch menu too. We source our ingredients locally wherever possible, using Cacklebean eggs, Jesse Smith Butchery, Kelmscott Country Pork, Sourdough Revolution bread & Coln Valley Smokery to name a few. We are a free house with a great selection of beers, ales and wines from nearby and further afield. We are passionate about coffee, running 3 coffee shops nearby and consequently we offer the highest quality Coffeesmith Coffee and have a comprehensive menu of loose leaf teas and organic tea blends, made by a herbalist especially for us. Parties, children & dogs welcome!
