Today, me and my partner visited today, whilst on a trip to visit the nearby model village. We're so glad that we found this tea room, as the staff were friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and the drinks were gratefully received. We had the soup of the day (tomato and red pepper) accompanied with a cheese scone. I... More

Spotted this place as we were walking through Bourton. We looked at the menu outside, and the young waiter spotted us and offered us a table - a very polite lad. We sat outside and ordered a cream tea (with a coffee, as we hate tea!) We we're offered any drink, so i had a latte and mum had a... More

We stood outside and were approached by a waiter immediately and offered a menu to look at. I asked about cakes and was given a list but also told I could... More

My wife, daughter and I are visiting England for the first time, and this was our very first tea experience. Wayne and Ruth made sure it was charming from beginning to end. Their quality service and personal attention was positively indulgent. The portions were, as reviewed: ample. The preparations: exquisite. The tastes: sumptuous. Ruth's mother, Mary, was the founder and... More

Four of us visited on a Sunday at 2pm, the staff made us feel very welcome. We ordered 2 standard afternoon teas and selected our choice of sandwiches, scones and cakes. The scones and cakes were homemade and the sandwiches very generously filled. It was served with a fresh salad on the side, crisps, grapes and salad dressing. We had... More

We offer quiches, homemade soups, fresh sandwiches, freshly baked baguettes, paninis, jacket potatoes. Our scones and many of our cakes are homemade. Please note that we are animal friendly and you may encounter dogs on the premises. We are closed on Monday's. We do not take debit/credit cards currently sorry.Over the next few months we will be adding more hot homemade dishes to our menu and we will also be changing the name of the tearoom to Mary's Rest all of which will be updated as and when the changes happen, please note the current website for The Danish tearoom is not up to date and some of the information is incorrect however the phone number is right so if you wish to check again details please call.
