From the warm welcome to the superbly cooked fish, Maggie’s can't be beaten. No fuss, no gimics, just absolutely fresh fish cooked to perfection.

Two for lunch... we had an hour's wait until towards the end of service for a table - Maggie's is obviously very popular! However, we were a little disappointed - the fish was very fresh and it was lovely to have the choice between huss,...More

Staff were friendly and welcoming. Service was efficient and with a smile. The fish & Chips were great in quality and quantity. A nice atmosphere in a clean and unpretentious building. We will definitely return.

Up-market fish and chips. Great choice of fish. Fresh and well-cooked. Fish and chips, bread and butter, mushy peas and tea - what can be better!

Four of us went for lunch. The food was freshly prepared, and piping hot when received. The chips were not your typical chip shop chips, they were even better, not greasy or dry but a good golden colour and crispy. On a Wednesday lunch time...More

Made a point of returning to Maggie's taking a friend. Again fresh fish cooked to order with tasty chips. Nice sized portions served by friendly and efficient staff. Basic no frills decor ,bright with views over the Fishing Huts and front. Still very good value....More

Sorry, I've no idea. I've never seen any dogs there but that doesn't mean they don't. Just call and check. Hopefully for you they will.

Lots of public car parks near by. However during the day, the queues for them can be huge!

Here at Maggie's we're in our third decade of serving you hearty portions of the freshest fish, cooked to order, in a warm and welcoming cafe - the same traditional family-friendly approach as when Margaret Banfield first put her name above the door. We're right on the Fisherman's Beach - so you'll enjoy some spectacular views while you tuck in to our fish, direct from the market below us and our specials are straight off the boats with the morning catch - keeping a carbon footprint of less than 20 miles. You can't get fresher than that! Maggie's is licensed too, so you can enjoy a glass of wine or a beer with your meal. We are open six days a week, but it's advisable to call us ahead to reserve your table, and if you've got a special occasion, we welcome parties of up to 40 guests.
