Brighton's critically acclaimed Terre a Terre is a vegetarian restaurant that will have even the most ardent carnivore waxing lyrical. Situated close to the sea-front. The decor is chic and stylish, using wooden floors and furniture to contrast with vibrant colours. But here the food is the centrepiece: dhal basmati buns with coconut curry leaf chatni, better Batter and Lemony Yemeni Relish and Thai aubergine jungle curry are just a few of the exotic and imaginative dishes you can find here. To complement the food, a large selection of organic beers, ciders and wines are available. A three course meal here costs an average of £30 per person. A refreshing take on vegetarian cuisine.
A friend recommended this restaurant. If I had read the menu, I would have been put off as it was fairly indecipherable to anyone but a food food buff. It did not sound appealing. My friend suggested the sharing platter for a main which was...More
I will be the first person to say I won't ever give up meat. I love meat in almost all its forms and whilst veg is great, I have never viewed it as the type of food I want to eat on it's own, rather...More
Hadn't been there for about 15 years and was disappointed. Took some friends from London who are used to eating well in reasonably priced restaurants for a special occasion. They were unimpressed as the main 2 of us ordered was obviously microwaved.
They were enjoying a busy lunchtime trade but service certainly didn't suffer
Friendly efficient & very knowledgeable staff made our first time visit to a
vegetarian restaurant a very enjoyable experience and one we will certainly repeat
in the near future!
I booked this place as my gf is veggie and I thought I’d treat her. As a meat eater, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Was pleasantly surprised by the various textures and flavours. All dishes were delicious. Highly recommend you give it a try,...More
We liked the ambience and staff were courteous and friendly. We travelled a long way to eat here as we had heard how good it was. As vegetarians it was great not to have to worry about any of the ingredients. The menu was interesting....More
How I enevy locals for having Terre a Terre within reach of their feet.
Upon entrance we were greeted by friendly staff and warm, cosy interior. Cold wintry day was left behind outside closed doors of restaurant.
Hungry, but not on the point of starvation,...More
This was my 3rd visit to Terre A Terre and it never disappoints. Beautiful, elegant food which is really well thought out and inspiring. The restaurant is also beautifully lit and atmospheric with fantastic, attentive waiters. It's not cheap but it is totally worth it!

Every time we go to Terre Terre we have to arrange to stay over. We have stayed at the Metropole - highly recommend, and the Grand -nice but the Metropole is better. Also stayed at Ibis and Premier Inn when on a budget all are within a reasonable walk to the restaurant. Enjoy your trip and your visit to Terre Terre.
