The owners are really friendly and very engaging with their customers. The place looks quite quirky and the pancakes are on point. Loved that I got the bill hand written which was quite rare these days and a adds a very nice touch.

Came here with a friend to satisfy our pancake-cravings and we were not disappointed. This place is our new favourite brunch spot! Super friendly staff, delicious pancakes and coffee at a reasonable price. Will definitely come back!

We visited on a bright but super-blustery Sunday morning, glad to escape the chill wind. Both of us went for Lumber Jill, the fluffiest pancakes, crispiest bacon and scrambled egg, with maple syrup on the side. Delicious and filling. And we were offered house-blend coffee...More

Restaurant was quiet because of 60mph+ winds and sideways rain but the house dog (forget what brand) gave us a great welcome! Delicious chicken and chorizo wrap and delicious IPA Ale. Will go again when it’s not raining!

I'm not Asian but I highly doubt the owners would do such a thing, they're two of the nicest guys you could hope to meet and seem the furthest from any kind of prejudice. Not a direct answer but hope it helps.
