This was our second visit after a really bad experience 6 years ago. We walked in on Sunday at 12.30 and they had a free table which was unexpected. We love our meat so a bold move. Service was good and friendly. Lovely kids menu. Brilliant food and drinks menu (good choice of smoothies) - i did not know what... More

Good food but maybe a bit more worthy than fun. Tasty and mostly simple. Pleasant staff and seating.

Hi David Oh gosh, 'worthy' is first for us. With regards to fun...perhaps we need some more fun-ghi on our menu? Although not sure we have mush-room. Leave it with us. Kind regards Kate Food for Friends More

Excellent service, excellent food. Varied menu, good choices for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. The best vegetarian restaurant in Brighton by a mile, and one of the best we have visited in the UK. Non-vegetarians are missing out if they don't visit here. Booking ahead strongly advised for this popular restaurant.

Went for dinner on a Sunday evening to celebrate my mother-in-law's birthday. Booked a table for 7pm, however we were very early and asked if we could dine earlier. The staff were extremely helpful and showed us to a lovely table by the window almost immediately. Our lovely waiter Charlie explained many of the dishes which we were unfamiliar with... More

Visited here with a friend and my son - who is at Uni in Brighton. My friend and I are not vegetarians, but as my son is, we decided to eat here. All three of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. I did not miss having meat/fish as the food was so flavoursome and delicious. And, the service was excellent, too!

Having visited Food for Friends several times a year for the last few years, I couldn't help but feel during my most recent visit last week that the quality and design of the menu has declined somewhat. The sharing platter to start with was pleasant enough, but nothing particularly remarkable, and I personally found the two raw/salad additions on the... More
